Minnie was the third child and first daughter of William McInnis (1856 - 1908) and Christy Ann Cummings (1861 - 1906). Grandmother was born `Minnie F`; when she became a citizen of the U.S. she much preferred `Mary Beatrice` so she is known by both names. All her life her friends referred to her as `Minnie`; she told me it was because she played MinnieHaHa in a PTA play. She was a dear.
Minnie married Stephen Lawson Enman in 1908; they had five children: Steven Howard (1914-1966); Walter Everett (1914-1921); Luella (1918-2010); Mildred Lucille (1920-1988); and Evelyn May (1922-2000).
