Funeral services for Patsy W. Paul, 67, of Heflin, LA., were held at 2 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2000 at Bistineau Baptist Church in Heflin. Rev. Everett Geis officiated. Burial was held in Bistineau Cemetery under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home of Ringgold, LA.
Mrs. Paul was born on October 24, 1933. She was an active member of Bistineau Baptist Church in Heflin, LA. and was employed at Ringgold High School for over Twenty years.
She died November 8, 2000. Her first husband, James Edward Keener, Sr.; her parents Daris & Norma Pate Wilson; and a sister, Margaret Dean Chandler, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Paul, Sr. of Heflin; sons, James E. Keener, Jr. & his wife Dianne, David Keener & his wife, Shelia, and Earl Paul, Jr., all of Heflin, LA.; sisters, Doris Logan, Lynda Hulion and Virginia Bailey all of Heflin, LA. Grandchildren Tracie Reynolds, Brian of Ruston, Chris Smith, Stephanie Smith, Becky Keener, Lacy Paul and Molly Paul, all of Heflin, LA.
Honorary Pallbearers were Steven Hulion, Brian Hulion, and Gary Woodard.
Active pallbearers were Marvin Coleman, Bobby Hulion, Bob Guin, Tim Boyet, Dale Hutchins, and Jimmy Morrow.
