Mr. Lawrence McNutt, 83, 114 S. Second Ave., Jonesboro, died Thursday at Marion General Hospital.
A native of Virginia, Mr. McNutt was a retired employee of the former Paranite Wire and Cable Co., Marion. He attended the Westview Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are his wife, Linnie; two daughters, Mrs. Virgil (Marie) Dailey and Mrs. Dale (Betty) Strausbaugh, both of Gas City; two brothers, Lee, Weber City, Va., and Olin, Kingsport, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Verdie Ray, Kingsport, and Mrs. Geneva Porter, Weber City; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at the Jay-Swift & Storey Funeral Home, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, with Rev. C.L. Fletcher and the Rev. Robert Marshall officiating. Burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery, Gas City.
