Born in Scott County, Va., Mrs. McNutt had lived in the Jonesboro area for 50 years. She was formerly employed at the Paranite Wire and Cable Co., Jonesboro, and was a member of the Westview Wesleyan Church, Jonesboro.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Virgil (Marie) Dailey and Mrs. Dale (Betty) Strausbaugh, both of Gas City; three brothers, Virgil Larkey, Huntington, Bascom Larkey, Fairland, and Creed Larkey, Upland, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. James (Mabel) Wells, Shelbyville, and Mrs. John (Mildred) Shutt, Spring Valley, Calif.; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Saturday at the Jay-Swift & Storey Funeral Home, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, with the Rev. Donald Fisher officiating. - Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery, Gas City.
