Olive E. Wade Sigman, 83, of 2101 Wabank Road, Millersville, died at 12:10 a.m. today at the Village Vista Skilled Nursing Facility after a brief illness.

She was the wife of Lester R. Sigman. The couple would have observed their 64th wedding anniversary on April 19.

Mrs. Sigman was a founding member and past president of the New Danville Fire Company Auxiliary. She was a member and former president of Farm Women Society 12.

She was also a member and former president of the auxiliary to the Rawlinsville Camp Meeting Association.

Mrs. Sigman was a member of Bethel Evangelical Congregational Church, Conestoga, and belonged to its Adult Missionary Fellowship and Silver Moon Bible class.

Mrs. Sigman lived all her life in New Danville and Millersville areas. A seamstress, she worked for the former Eagle Parachute Co. in Lancaster during World War II.

Born in Conestoga Township, she was the daughter of the late John Z. and Emma Duke Wade.

Surviving besides her husband are a son, Kenneth W., Lancaster R6, and a grandson.
