Fay A. McCoy of Bedford, IN, died Tuesday, August 10, 2004, at the Hospitality House. Born on November 1, 1907, in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of James Wilson and Addie (Guthrie) Anderson. She married James Paul Child on July 24, 1926, and he died July 14, 1970. She later married Ernest J. McCoy on June 27, 1975 and he died on February 18, 1989.

Surviving are one son, Edward Child of Bedford, IN; one daughter, Annalou McCune of Bedford, IN; one sister, Hazel Irene Kellams of Franklin, IN. She was preceded in death by both husbands; two brothers, Wayne Anderson and Ray Anderson who was her twin.

She retired from the Lawrence County Court House where she had worked in several offices. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Delta Sigma Kappa Sorority.

Services for Fay McCoy will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 14th, the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Curtis Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
