Guy Irvin Died At Sioux City
Funeral services for Guy [Egbert] Irvin of Athelstan will be held at the Community church in Athelstan Friday afternoon, June 26 at two o'clock. Rev, Anthony Blankers of the Bedford Methodist church will officiate.

Mr. Irvin was engaged in construction work in South Dakota, when he became ill and was taken to Veterans hospital in Sioux City, Iowa, where he died Sunday, June 21.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters and two sons.

Guy Irvin Rites Held At Athelstan
Guy Egbert Irvin, son of E. [gbert] E. [ugene Elias] and Winnie Addie Belle [Smith] Irvin, was born at Athelstan, Iowa, in Taylor County, Nov. 25, 1907 and died June 21, 1959 at the ago of 51 years, six months, 26 days at Veterans hospital, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

He served three years in Military Service during World War II and married Marcelene Booher on June 10, 1950.

He is survived by his wife and four children, Earl Ray, Mary Lou, Guy Egbert jr., and Jessie Belle; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Smith of Athelstan, Mrs. Anna Brumfield of Bedford, Mrs. Zola Maness of Des Moines; three brothers, Frank Irvin of Omaha, Robert L. Irvin of Bedford, Elmer Irvin of Athelstan. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and one sister.

Funeral services were held at the Athelstan Community church Friday afternoon, June 26. Rev. Anthony Blankers of Bedford officiated. Burial in Athelstan cemetery.
