CROUSE - Charles Henry Clark, Sr. 88 of 1953 St. Mark's Church Rd., Crouse, NC, died December 28th, 1999 at Lincoln Medical Center, Lincolnton.

Funeral services will be held at Crouse United Methodist Church Friday, December 31, 1999 beginning 11:00 AM, with Rev. Fred Falls officiating. Burial will be at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 PM tonight at the funeral home.

A native of Gaston County, NC, Mr. Clark was born December 22, 1911 to the late James Wiley and Delia Beam Clark. He was a retired farmer and member of Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service, Dallas, NC.

Survivors include his wife, Vergie Smith Clark

of the home; son & daughter-in-law, ''C.H.'' & Annette Clark, Jr. of Crouse; three daughters and son-in-law, Martha Clark Stroup of Bessemer City, Nora & Ben Heavner of Cherryville and Virginia Clark Garrett of Crouse; two sisters, Eliza Clark of Crouse, Stella Carpenter of Cherryville; seven grandchildren, Denise S. Sellers, Church M. Clark, David C. Stroup, Mark B. Heavner, Delisa M. Stroup, Melissa C. Atkins and Amanda G. Fowler; seven great grandchildren, Paige Sellers, Chelsey Stroup, Clark Sellers, Rebecca Fowler, Hannah Fowler, Emily Atkins and Alex Heavner.
