Frank Delapp
Frank (Babe) DeLapp, 76, Ellettsville, died 5 p.m. Saturday of a heart ailment at Bloomington Hospital.
He was semi-retired for about 10 years and worked as an operating engineer for Matthews Brothers Stone Company at Ellettsville. He was a member of the Ellettsville Methodist Church and Operating Engineers Union.
He leaves his wife, Mabelle; two sons, Bruce of R. 6 and Franklin of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Franklin Paul DeLapp of Nashville, Tenn., Michael Bruce DeLapp of R. 6 and Christina Lynne DeLapp of R. 6; several nephews and one niece; one great-granddaughter, Belinda Kay DeLapp.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ellettsville Methodist Church, Rev. T. L. Britner officiating. Ross Mossholder, church organist, will provide music. Burial will be in Presbyterian Cemetery, Ellettsville. Pallbeareres will be Detern Wampler, John Baugh, Hugh Staudt, Hubert Grubb, John Crane and Cletus Ellett.
Friends may call at Greene & Harrell’s Ellettsville Chapel until time for services.
