Everett Eugene West, 72, of Salt Lake City, died Friday, Jan. 17, 1986.
He was born Jan. 26, 1913 in Salt Lake City to John Everett and Ethel Hilton West. He married Mary Tobin Sept. 17, 1947.
He spent his early years in Pleasant Grove. He received his schooling there, at BYU, LDS Business College, Henager College and Oregon State University.
After serving in the Signal Corps in the South Pacific during World War II, he joined the Salisbury Investment Co. of Salt Lake City and was vice president for many years.
Survivors include his wife of Salt Lake City; one sister and two brothers: Mrs. Joseph W. (Gwyn) Larsen, Pleasant Grove; Dale H. West, Provo; and J. Everett West, Salt Lake City. At his request, there will be no formal funeral services.
