DEATHS

Mr. Benjamin F. Whitt, aged 46 years, died at his residence near Blanche of typhoid fever on Thursday, October 24, 1912. He was a good man and member of the Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral service was conducted by Rev. W. J. Malone and burial at Blanche by the Woodman of the World, of which fraternity he was an honored member. At the last elections he was elected Tax Assessor and his success shows the esteem in which he was held by the people of the county.
