He was the husband of Mary Dibell
Nathaniel Dibell
Born: 30 JUN 1776 in Mount Washington, Berkshire County, Massachusetts.
Died: 22 JUN 1849 in Salisbury, Herkimer County, New York
Father: John DIBELL b: 16 Aug 1739 in Washington, Berkshire, Mass
Mother: Olive HENRY b: 15 Jul 1745 in
He married: Mary Smith b: 1877
See the 1810, 1820 and 1840 Census records to confirm the proper spelling of his name.
I found that Nathanial Dibell died in Mt. Washington, Berkshire County, MA, of cholera in June 1849. His wife, Mary had just died in February (FAG# 38065477). His brother Jeremiah also died in June 1849 of cholera in Mt. Washington. I believe after Nathanial's wife died in Feb 1849, he went back to Mt. Washington, where he grew up, probably to see family. Unfortunately, he died of the same thing as his brother, but was buried in Salisbury, Herkimer, NY. I found this in the "U.S. federal census mortality schedules, 1850-1885" on Ancestry.com.
