MR. BUSTER
DIES SUNDAY

Basil W. Buster, 75, Eugene,
died Sunday at Charles E. Still
Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Buster was born Oct. 23,
1897, in Miller County, the son
of Monroe and Nancy Wright
Buster. He was married May
20, 1922, at Spring Garden to
the former Miss Orphia
Henley, who survives at the
home.

A retired farmer, Mr.
Buster was a member of the
Eugene Christian Church and
the Oddfellow Lodge.

Survivors include: Two
daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Cun-
ningham, Lake View Heights,
and Mrs. Peggy Jones,
Russellville; a son, Billy Joe
Buster (grave #55645754), Eugene; a brother,
Perry Buster, Coffeyville,
Kan.; 11 grandchildren; and
eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m.
today at Eugene Christian
Church with the Rev. Dennis
Lewis officiating. Burial will
be in Eugene Cemetery under
the direction of Griswold-Kays
Funeral Home, Eldon.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jones and
children of Winfield came here to
spend their vacation in the home
of Mrs. Jones' parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Basil Buster.

Mr. and Mrs. Basil Buster have
received word of the arrival of
a daughter, Marcia Diana, on May
23 to their son and his wife, Mr.
and Mrs. Billy Joe Buster.

Clothing, leaders, Mrs. J. E.
Leuthen and Mrs. Orpha Buster,
led a discussion "Suitable Styles".
The next meeting will, be at the
home of. Mrs. S. W. Roberts on
July 3, an all-day meeting.

and Mrs. Basil Buster home
were Mr. and Mrs. Theodore
Sanning and children, Linda,
Pamela, Tedy Jo, and Reggie,
Winfield, and Billie Joe Buster,
Chicago.

Sunday visitors in the Mr. and
Mrs. Basil Buster home were
Junior Henley and Edward
Jackson, Kansas City, Kan.

Mrs. V. B. Buster has returned
to her home after a few days'
visit in the home of her son-in-
law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
Vasca Thompson. Mrs. Buster
has been ill.

Basil Buster, who has employment
at Winfield, returned to
his work Monday after spending
the weekend here.
