---------------
MRS. KATE VAN HORN DIED IN
CITY YESTERDAY AFTERNOON
----------------
Came Here in December From Kansas
Five Children Were Placed
in the Lutheran Home
----------------------
Mrs. Kate Van Horn, the mother of five children; who are inmates of the Lutheran home south of this city, passed away on Tuesday afternoon at the Hershey hospital. She came to here in December with her family from Kansas. Her illness was of short duration.

The death of Mrs. Van Horn is an especially sad one. The oldest of the five children who are left to mourn is only 11 years, while the youngest child is three. Her remains were taken to the Wittich
undertaking parlors on Tuesday, pending word from her relatives, but as none has been received, the body was taken to the Lutheran Orphans Home, south of the city, this afternoon, where the funeral was held at 3:30 o'clock, after which the body was interred at the cemetery there.
Note, Kate was my June Brewer Welsch g/mother, her maiden name was Oetken.
