Obituary:
Funeral services for James E. Kornegay, 79, of Ruston were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Spear's Funeral Home of Ruston with the Rev. C. L. Acuff officiating.
Burial was at Douglas Cemetery near Choudrant.
Mr. Kornegay died Friday, October 20, 1972 at his residence after a long illness.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Erma [sic Irma] Kornegay of Ruston; one daughter, Mrs. J. F. Pullen of West Monroe; one stepdaughter, Mrs. C. W. Herrin of Shreveport; one stepson, Eugene Waldron of Grand Prairie, Texas; one brother, Walter W. Kornegay of Dodson; one sister, Mrs. Erick Hall of Beaumont, Texas.
