The funeral for Mrs. Emma Mae Smith, 80, Abilene, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Martin Funeral Home, Abilene, the Rev. Gaylen P. Minner officiating. Burial will be in the Abilene Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died Wednesday at Abilene Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 21, 1899, in Woodbine and was a lifetime area resident. She was a member of the Abilene First Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Len "Johnnie" Bogart, Lawrence; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Knox, Detroit, Kan.; and Mrs. Dan Young, Tacoma, Wash.; two grandsons and two great grandsons.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
