Mrs. Grace Churchill Pickrell, 86, of Orlando, Fla. and formerly of Gaston, died at an Orlando Hospital Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Pickrell was born in Kansas on 20 October 1879, and spent her early childhood there. By 1891 the family had moved to Nebraska. Grace was the daughter of the late Edwin and Clara Record Churchill. She out survived all of her 9 siblings: brothers, William, Charles, Harry and John and sisters; Mary Ann, Norah, Carlotta, Altha and Thursa.

She was the widow of Silas Pickrell.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Miller of Gaston and Mrs. Thelma Curtis and Alpha Furtick, both of Orlando: three sons, Paul of Gaston and Ray and Glenn, both of Long Beach, California.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body will be brought to Sale Funeral Home, Lexington.
