Guy Preston Moyers, 88, entered into eternal rest on April 23, 2009.
He will be taken home to Paden City, WV for interment. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 130 South 4th Avenue, Paden City, WV 26159.

He was born July 30, 1920 in Wheeling, WV to the late Guy Calfax and Margaret Linch Moyers. He was a life-long member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Paden City, WV and a long time employee of PPG Industries in Natrium, WV. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942 through 1945 as a Platoon Sergeant and participated in the Central European Campaign.

Surviving in addition to his beloved wife Marjorie Lee Moyers are two daughters, Karen Sue Weltz (Victor) of North Charleston, SC and Sheila Ann Sholtis (Thomas) of Summerville, SC; nine grandchildren, Denise Weltz, Aaron Weltz (Sara), Natalie Weltz Wiggins (Dane), Brent Weltz (Jennifer), Steven Kuhn, David Kuhn, Brain Kuhn, Michael Sholtis and Tommy Sholtis; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Charlotte Poliskey of Hemet, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jarvis C. Moyers, and one sister, Ellen Moyers.
