Born in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Maggie Knuckles Foxx.
She had been an assembly line worker for Ellicon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Junice Foxx, Darrell Foxx and Jewell Foxx; sisters, Belvie Root and Mafrie Jones; sons, Roy Hale and Loren Hale; and husbands, Billy H. Lawson and Sam Hale.
She is survived by her children, Joey Hale of Keavy and Troy Hale of Gulfsport, Ind.;
10 grandchildren; and brother, Harrell Foxx.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday, June 1, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery at Faber.
