She was born on May 22, 1917 in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Commandini) Caravaggi and had resided in Enfield for 30 years, Ocala, FL for 13 years and in West Springfield, MA.
She was a graduate of W. Springfield High School. Antoinette retired from CT General Life Insurance. Co./CIGNA with over 20 years of service.
Antoinette was a great Italian cook and in her leisure time enjoyed doing ceramics, playing bingo and planting flowers.
Besides her husband, James of 63 years, Antoinette is survived by a son, James J. Pace, Jr. of Enfield; a daughter, Virginia Hellstrom and her husband, Robert of Columbia; her five beloved grandchildren, Adric Hellstrom, Brice Hellstrom, Wendy Turer, Jessica Morrow and Daren Pace and seven great grandchildren, Colin, Gavin and Cameron Turer, Anya and Morgan Morrow and Olivia and Julia Pace. She is also survived by two nieces and three nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Americo Caravaggi.
Funeral Services for Antoinette will be held on Monday, June 1, 2009 with the procession forming at 10 a.m. and Funeral Services at 11 a.m. from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, followed by Interment in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery, Enfield.
Her family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 4-7 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels.
