Martha Wallace Patterson, 84, 31 May 1917 of Hartselle, Morgan died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2002, at the Bethel Baptist Church with burial in the Bethel Cemetery in Hartselle.
Patterson was a homemaker and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church were she worked in the church nursery for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Luther and Dena Elizabeth Free Wallace.
Patterson is survived by her husband, William Richard Patterson of Hartselle; two sons, William Anthony Patterson of Oakman and Ronald Steven Patterson of Andalusia; one daughter, Vanessa Marie Nesmith of Hartselle; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
