Homer Bannister, about 69, a former Wabash resident, died Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Stroup, 5041 South Wolcott Street, Indianapolis. He had been ill for one month.
Mr. Bannister, a former employee of the Wabash Cabinet company, had been a resident of Wabash for about 50 years and left here about 10 years ago following the death of his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Porter Bannister, who died March 10, 1934. Mrs. Stroup and a grandson are the only survivors.
The body will arrive in Wabash Sunday afternoon and will be taken to the Hoover Funeral home where services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and where friends may call. The Rev. Gordon Waston will officiate and burial will be in Falls cemetery.
