John D. Elton, Sr., age 74, passed away on May 27, 2009 in San Antonio. John had retired from GSA after 20 years of service at the San Antonio Federal Building and was a long-time member of Shepherd King Lutheran Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane Elton; daughters, Sherry Denise Elton and Joanna Elton; son, John D. Elton, Jr.; grandchildren, John Goodner and Madisyn Lopez; one great-grandchild; mother-in-law, Bernice Showers and by many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 1, 2009 at Shepherd King Lutheran Church with a reception immediately following in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be at Mission Retama Cemetery.
