She was born September 23, 1915 in West Jordan, Utah to Axel Ferdinand and Ivy Leona Hibbard Lundquist.
Vyrle married Roland Yates and David Butler.
A special friend and companion, Paul Marani, helped make life enjoyable for Vyrle. Vyrle loved Wendover! She enjoyed quilting and shared her talent with friends and family, who considered her gifts as a treasure.
She was a member of the LDS Church. Vyrle's children and grandchildren loved her and they enjoyed her fun loving nature and the fact that she loved life.
Survivors: children, Gerie Brigham, Kay (Lynn) Holt, Gayle (Jack) Player, Gary (Karol) Yates, Jim Yates, Kathleen Miller; 16 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 37 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Vaudis Myers. Preceded in death by Roland, David, and Paul; as well as seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 South State Street, where a viewing will be held on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday one hour prior to the services.
Interment: West Jordan City Cemetery.
