Robert W. Crew, 50, of 401 Chestnut Street, Varna, died at 3:50 a.m. March 26, 2005, at his residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Lenz Memorial Home, Lacon, with Pastor Betty Delgado officiating. Burial will be at First Lutheran Cemetery #2, rural Varna. Varna American Legion Post No. 0892 will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation was Sunday.
Mr. Crew was born September 21, 1954, in Galesburg to Warren and Nellie Besinger Crew.
He was a truck driver and locksmith. He served in the U. S. Army in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Varna American Legion Post No. 0892.
Survivors include his parents, Warren and Nellie Crew of Varna; two daughters, Amanda Jo Ann Crew of Varna and Sarah Nicole Crew of rural Toluca; one granddaughter; and one brother, Randy (Lori) Crew of Oglesby.
He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents.
