Mrs. Purdom was born August 2, 1925 in Wise County, TX, the daughter of W.T. Alexander and Minnie (Purdy) Alexander and died May 25, 2009 in Muskogee, OK. On September 12, 1946 she married Charles Hugh Purdom in Muskogee. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Oktaha. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Craig Stevens and infant son, Allen Hugh Purdom. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Trinity Baptist Church in Oktaha with Brother D. Vann Washington officiating. Burial will be in Oktaha Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
