John, 88, of Jones, Ok., passed away Dec. 27, 1993. Born Jan. 5, 1905 in Quinlan, Ok. to Charles L. & Mary (Garvey) Johns. Retired rural sales rep for OG&E for 35 years, retiring in 1969. Graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1931 with a Masters degree in Animal Science. He was a vocational agriculture teacher, & extension agent before working for OG&E. Member of the Jones United Methodist Church. Survived by his wife, Helen, of the home; 3 sons, Denny Johns, Houston, Tx., John DeWitt Jo hns, Mineral Wells, Tx., Ronnie Schones, Jones, Ok.; a daughter, Shelly K. Johns of the home; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Anna Hopkins, Mooreland, Ok. & Mary Crumrine, Pampa, Tx. Preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers & 1 sister. Services will be 1 :00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 1993 at the Bill Eisenhour NE Chapel with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens.
