In Memory of / THOMAS SUMMERSETT / who died March 6th AD / 1834. In the 80th year / of his age. / The following is a verse that / he was about to sing when / he expired: / My soul come meditate the day / And think how near it stands / When thou must quit this house of clay / And fly to unknown lands.
