Portsmouth - Age 87, of 170 Williams Street, the widow of Willis Claude Bell and a native of Portsmouth, died Sunday, January 12, 1975 in a hospital.
She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Survivors include 5 daughters, Mrs. James O. Hoggard and Mrs. Maggie Ireland of Portsmouth, John Sutherland of Atlanta, Mrs. John Foltz of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Alfred Brush of Norfolk; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 15, 1975 at 11:00 am in St. Paul's Catholic Church by the Rev. James R. Guttendorf. Burial will be in Oak Grove
Cemetery with Brennan Funeral Home in charge. A Christian wake service will be held in the funeral home tonight at 7:30 pm.
