WARDEN
Mrs. Carolyn Warden, 66, of the Vestry Community, died Thursday, March 4, 2004, in Perkinston.
Mrs. Warden was born in Biloxi and had been a longtime resident of the Vestry Community. She was a member of the Lucedale Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She never met a stranger.
Mrs. Warden was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Hugo "Red" Warden, her parents, John Samuel and Olive Mills Oehler, and a sister, Robin Gayle Oehler.
Survivors include five daughters, Sandra Marie Daniels and Olive Carolyn Knapps, both of Benndale, Miss.; Huberta Lynn Ferguson and Mary Ann Fairley, both of Vestry; and Mickey Elaine Woth of Bexley; four sons, Robin Davis Warden Sr. of Benndale; Charles Thomas Warden Sr. of Wiggins, John Screal Warden of D'Iberville; and Wayne Warden of Vancleave; four sisters, Doris L. Creel of Gautier; Myrtle Marilyn Houck of Washington State; Marie Elania McCullaugh of
Bendale, Miss.; and Cynthia Kelly of Philadelphia, Pa.; 29 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Saturday, March 6, 2004, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park
