Brenda Kay White, 53, of Fort Gibson passed away, Monday, May 25, 2009. She was born on a Military Base in Killeen, TX, October 17, 1955 to Albert L. & Lois (McLain) West.
Brenda moved to Fort Gibson in 1972. She worked at WISH in Muskogee and also worked as a 911 dispatcher for Fort Gibson and Muskogee Police Departments.
She was a good mother and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Her great sense of humor will be missed by her family and many friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, and her maternal and maternal grandparents.
She is survived by her mother, Lois J. West; daughters, Michelle Satterfield, Stephanie White & husband, Shabrone Simpson, and Amanda White; grandchildren, Alex, Kylie and Ryan Satterfield, and Mariah, Brandon, Tyron and Tyson White; her brother, Cliff West; sisters, Jan Thornton and husband, Travis, and Debbie Cato; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of the life of Brenda Kay White will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Bradley Memorial Chapel in Fort Gibson with Paul Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in Citizens Cemetery.
The family has entrusted Bradley Family Funeral Service of Fort Gibson with the arrangements.
