Mr. Raymond Charles Sweat, age 65, of Canton, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009 from the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chip Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Fields Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Mr. Sweat was employed with Lockheed. He was a member of Crossroads of Life Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sweat of Canton; daughter and son-in-law, April and Brandon Carlisle of Canton; granddaughter, Marissa Carlisle of Canton; brother and sister-in-law, J.D. and Earline Sweat of Canton; several nieces and nephews also survive.
