Mrs. Barbara Sweat, 61, of Canton passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Teddy Blanton officiating. Interment will follow in Field's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sweat was a homemaker and a tennis fan. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Betty Blanton; brothers, Jimmy Blanton, Johnny Blanton and Ricky Blanton. Survivors include her daughter, April (Brandon) Carlisle; sister, Lynn Duckett; grandchildren, Marissa, Elena and Layla Carlisle; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
