Funeral Services for Mrs. Busby

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Olive Busby, 106 East Adams Street, will be held at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the Shafer Funeral Home. The Rev. Walter C. Burk, pastor of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 until 9 o'clock tonight.

Mrs. Busby, 78, widow of Jason K. Busby died at 9:50 o'clock Saturday morning in Meadow Manor Nursing Home, Rt. 48 North, where she had been a patient since April 1. She had been in failing health for some time.

She is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Walter (Minnie) Dix, Levonia, Michigan, and Mrs. William (Anne) Haywood, Ypsilanti, Michigan; a son David Busby, Taylorville, three sisters; Mrs. John (Georgia) Derringer and Mrs. Julius (Floy) Dunham both of Taylorville and Mrs. Maude Illsen, Phoenix, Arizona; two brothers Fred and Chester Cook both of this city, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Note: Eva Olive Cook and Jason K. Busby were married in Shawneetown, Gallatin County, Illinois July 3, 1911.
