Leonard Christian Wolf was born January 15, 1900 in Trinidad, Colorado. His parents were Christian Wolf, born in Germany, and Roseann McLaughlin Wolf, born in East St. Louis, Illinois.

MILITARY RECORD:
Enlisted June 15, 1942 in Quincy, Illinois. Assigned to U.S. Army Service Battery, 906th F.A. Battalion. Discharged as Private First Class on March 17, 1943 at Camp Rucker, Alabama.

He moved to Washington state in April 1952 and had lived in Bremerton since that time. His occupation was Auto Mechanic.

Mr. Wolf was a recent member of the Washington Veterans' Home and passed away there. He was 62 years old and is buried in the Washington Veterans' Home.

Obituary published in Bremerton Sun: WOLF, Leo, age 62-Passed away last Friday in the Washington Veterans Home at Retsil following an extended illness. Requiem mass will be said at Saint Gabriels Catholic Church Friday at 9 a.m. by Reverend Father John P. Donahoe, with burial to follow at Washington Veterans Home Cemetery, under the PENDLETON-GILCHRIST FUNERAL HOME, Port Orchard. Mr. Wolf was a World War II veteran and was employed at the Naval Shipyard and had lived at the Simon Hotel in Bremerton from 1958 until early this year when he moved to the veterans home. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Rose Currigan of Denver.
