Sallie D. Gathright Mrs. Sallie Davies Gathright, 17. of 1103 Isoida. resident of Victoria since 1910. died at 1.30 a m. Thursday in a local rest home following a short Illness. She was born March 3, 1894 in Severy. Kan., the daughter of the late Edwin K. and Nanny Lois Krisley Davies. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Colonial Funeral Home with the Rev. Sterlin Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Surviving are a daughter, Sylvia E. Elsey of Universal City, Texas: two sons. Willis R. Gathright of Victoria and Thomas E. Gathright of Houston; a brother, R. Glenn Davies of Houston; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Daryl and Mike Hawkes, Ronald and Charles Elsey Jr.. Lynn . and Wayne Gathright. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas A. Gathright Jr. and John David Gathright.
