Ernest lived to be age 83 in Pesotum. He died at Winter Haven Hospital, Winter Haven, Florida. He was a son of William and Elsie Schlorff Deedrick and was later adopted by Fred and Marie Schlorff Weasel.
He married Imogene E Kleiss on Dec. 27, 1947, in Pesotum. She survives with two sons and two daughters, seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Mr. Deedrich owned a farming and trucking business in Pesotum. He was a founding member of Pesotum Volunteer Fire Department and served on the board of directors of Sadorus Co-Op and Grand Prairie Co-Op and a trustee for Pesotum Township and member of Moose Lodge of Tuscola. Mr. Deedrich enjoyed baseball, the Cubs and camping.
