LAURENCE L. ANDERSEN

Malad, Idaho - Laurence LeRoy Andersen, 86, of Malad, died Sunday in a Burley, Idaho, nursing home of natural causes.
Mr. Andersen was born July 25, 1888, in Bear River City, Utah, a son of Andrew C. and Sophia Johnson Andersen.
He was married to Elizabeth Ann Barnett on March 18, 1909, in Brigham City. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on Feb. 13, 1931.
He retired from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of Interior on July 31, 1952, after 34 years of service.
He was an elder in the LDS Church.
Surviving are his widow of Pocatello, Idaho; five sons and one daughter, Leon L. Andersen, Joseph N. Andersen, both of Challis, Idaho; Loren D. (Cy) Andersen, Malad; L. DeVon Andersen, Murtaugh, Idaho; F. LaDell Andersen, Logan; Mrs. Parker (Verna) Richards, Pocatello; 26 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Also surviving are three brothers and two sisters, Richard Andersen, Pocatello; Fred Andersen, Cleveland, Idaho; Hans L. Andersen, Mrs. Nina Jensen, both of Ogden; Mrs. Annie Fielding, Provo.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12 noon in the Malad 2nd Ward Chapel.
Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home in Malad tonight and Wednesday prior to services. Burial in Malad City Cemetery.
