Leoma Evan, 89 of Hartford died Sunday, August 3rd of complications from diabetes, at Bethany Lutheran Home. She was united in marriage with Michael Even in Sioux Falls. Leoma lived in San Francisco, California and Denver, Colorado before returning to Hartford in 2004.
She was "Aunt Leoma" to everyone in Denver. She was "Auntie Lee" to everyone in San Francisco. Her love was babies - baby animals and baby children. She cared for many, many children - Bobby and Billy in Sioux Falls, Linda and Marie in San Francisco, and even moved to Denver to take care of grand nieces and grand nephews (Robert, Jonathon, Laura, Jason and Jessie). She was so thrilled with the next generation - little Tyler at 18 months who came to visit just weeks ago. We will always remember the precious moment when he gave her a hug in the hospital.
