She was a lifelong resident of New Bedford until relocating to Sippican three years ago.
Mrs. Belanger was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and square dancing.
Survivors include her son, Larry A. Belanger of New Bedford; a daughter-in-law, Alana Belanger of Freetown; six grandchildren, Lynn Mourao, Adriana Durant, Amanda Vollaro, Sara Belanger, Cheryl Spillane and Jessica Belanger; five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jake and Zack Mourao and Patrick and Matthew Spillane; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Russell S. Belanger; and sister of the late Frederick and Theodore Izyk and Natalie Ocho.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening 6-8 PM at Rock Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be in the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11 AM followed by interment Sacred Heart Cemetery.
