Clara Mae Bragdon Wright, of Georgetown died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2002, at Conway Nursing Center.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, at 3 p.m. at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Dannye O. Bragdon and the Rev. Phillip C. Thrailkill.

Burial, directed by Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home, will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, Sept. 29, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Church Parlor.

Mrs. Wright was born in Georgetown, a daughter of the late Dorus Otis Bragdon and Anna Alena Parker Bragdon.

She was a graduate of Winyah High School and attended business college. Mrs. Wright worked as an accountant and an executive with the old Seacoast Telephone Co. in Georgetown. She was a member and former secretary of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Wright was also a member of the Susanna Wesley Church School Class and the United Methodist Women.

She was the widow of John Thomas Wright.

Surviving are three nephews, John Roger Bragdon of Baneberry, Tenn., Bill Bragdon of Columbia, and the Rev. Dannye O. Bragdon of Florence; two nieces, Norvellalena Bragdon Kruger of Mt. Pleasant and Debbie Bragdon Tanner of Hemingway; and her good friend, Mary Orvin of Georgetown.
