Elsie Helms, 82, of Holland Township, died Thursday in her home.
She was an elementary school teacher in Holland Township for over 40 years before retiring.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Edna Seigle Apgar.
She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Reigelsville, Pa., where in her early years she served as substitute organist.
Her husband, Robert J. Helms died in 1974.
She is survived by a brother, John E. of Atlanta.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home in Riegelsville. Interment will be in Riegelsville Union Cemetery. Call 10 a.m. Saturday to time of services.
