Mrs. Seitter was born in Georgetown on October 22, 1917, a daughter of the late Samuel Martin Pope and Mary McDonald Pope.
She grew up in Georgetown, graduated from Winyah High School, and attended Palmer Business School in Charleston.
Mrs. Seitter was a former employee of International Paper Company. She was a member of Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Alfred Paul Seitter, Sr. of Georgetown; a daughter, Mary Beth S. Brawley of Charlotte, N.C.; a son, Alfred Paul Seitter, Jr. and his wife Linda Cribb Seitter of Youngsville, N.C.; two sisters, Elizabeth P. Ward of Spring Hill, Fla. and Lucille P. Hornbaker of Litchfield Beach; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, January 13, 2002, at the graveside in Elmwood Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Phillip C. Thrailkill. Burial will follow under the direction of the Georgetown Chapel of MAYER FUNERAL HOME.
