Maudine was one of the daughters of Felix Orean and Ada Maud Prunty. She was born in Blackwell, OK. She never married. This picture is from Shirley Harlan, [email protected], who was kind enough to drive to up to the cemetery to take the pictures and forward them to me.

This is her complete obit:

Prunty, Maudine Martini - Maudine Martini Prunty died in Norman Thursday night after a long illness. She was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma on July 18, 1923, the fourth and final child of Felix O. Prunty and Ada Maud (Knight) Prunty. Maudine graduated from the University Prep School at Tonkawa Junior College before going on to obtain both bachelors and masters degrees in English from the University of Oklahoma where she became a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Miss Prunty taught at the college level for many years, first at the University of Oklahoma, and then at a Catholic girl's school in Iowa. From there she became a professor at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas before retiring and returning to Norman. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Helen Peppard of Austin, Texas and Felicia Coffman of Seminole, Oklahoma. Maudine is survived by another sister, Adaline Copeland of Kingfisher, and a host of nieces and nephews. There will be a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, May 19 Tuesday, May 20, also at St. Michael's. Father Joseph Poisson will officiate. Intenment will follow in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Maudine Martini Prunty will [be] remembered by family and friends as a devout Catholic and deeply loving woman.
