Oneida Ludlum Bennett, 90, a resident of Shallotte Assisted Living, formerly of Hickmans Crossroads, NC, died Monday, March 15, 2004, in Brunswick Community Hospital.
Born in Brunswick County, NC on November 26, 1913, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Rosa Lee Newett Ludlum. She was predeceased by her husband, Wanis Bennett, eight brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are her sister, a special sister-in-law and ten nephews and seven niece
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at 3:00 p. m. in Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Leftus (Bill) Bennett and the Rev. Bill McNeill. Burial will follow in the Manley Bennett Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at the funeral home.
Active casketbearers will be O'Neal Grissett, Jimmy Phelps, Cecil Phelps, Wayne Ludlum, Benny Ludlum and Sammy Bennett.
