Mrs. Matilda Rumley, wife of G.H. Rumley, died on Monday of last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.E. Thomas, after an illness extending over many months. She was 69 years of age and a faithful member of the Baptist Church, which she joined early in life. She was greatly beloved by all who knew her and was a devoted wife and mother. The remains were laid in the Hufford cemetery. She is survived by her husband, and eight children; M.G., G.G., Raska R., John, Burna and George Rumley; Mrs. R.E. Thomas and Mrs. J.J. Covey, besides many other relatives and close friends.
