"Horace Christian, a farmer living four miles north of Burlington, was kicked to death by one of his horses Sunday morning. Nothing is known of the circumstances beyond the fact that he was found under such circumstances that make it certain that he must have met his death in that way."

"Horace J. Christian, a former resident of Port Byron, was recently killed near Marshall, Mich., by the kick of a horse, while attempting to catch the animal, which had strayed. He was a nephew of Rodney Christian of the former village (Port Byron, Cayuga County, NY)."
