Mrs. Charlotte J. Booher, widow of David Booher, died on Wednesday morning, February 6, 1946, at 11:45 o'clock in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth E. Rupert, 213 Locust street, New Kensington. Mrs. Booher became ill on December 1, 1945, and was confined to her bed from that time until her death. She was aged 84 years and three days, having been born in Washington township on February 3, 1862, a daughter of the late Abraham Frick and Delilah (Bowser) Frick. Mrs. Booher was a member of the Montgomeryville Baptist church and the Nicholson Bible Class of the Kittanning First Baptist church. She was also a member of Kittanning Chapter No. 77, Order of Eastern Star. Her husband preceded her in death in 1937. She leaves five sons and two daughters: H. M. and Elmer D. Booher, both of Kittanning; Mrs. Reed R. Stoops of Erie; Roy F. Booher of Kittanning; Mrs. Kenneth E. Rupert of New Kensington; Richard E. Booher, Kittanning; and J. H. Booher, New Kensington. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a brother, A. L. Wolfe of Kittanning R. D. 3. The body was removed to the home of her son, Elmer D. Booher, 214 Allegheny avenue, Applewold, where friends will be received until Saturday afternoon, when funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock in the Montgomeryville Baptist church. Rev. W. K. Morgan, pastor of the Kittanning First Baptist church, and Rev. Robert Jones, pastor of the Montgomeryville Baptist church, will conduct the services. Burial will be made in the Montgomeryville Baptist cemetery. The Rhodes funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
