CLINTON--Graveside service for Claude Caddo, 61, Clinton, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Deyo Cemetery with the Rev. Videll Yackeschi officiating.

Mr. Caddo died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, in Clinton.

Arrangements are under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.

He was born July 12, 1947, in Lawton, to Anna Lee Coosewoon Caddo. He graduated from Fort Sill Indian School. He then served in the Army from Jan. 17, 1967, to Jan. 16, 1970. While in the Army he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 Device. He retired from Claremore Indian Hospital and moved to Clinton, where he has lived for the past 20 years. He was a member of Comanche Indian Veteran Association and the Comanche Tribe.

Survivors include two daughters: Anna Lee Caddo and Jo Caddo; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Irene Kappelmann, Lawton; and Dixie Lee and Virgil McGuire, Colorado Springs, Colo.; a granddaughter; a uncle, Jimmy Ray Caddo, Elgin; nieces and nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.
