Charles E. Boxell Dies Near Warren
Charles E. Boxell, 46, died at 8:10 Monday evening at his home located four miles east of Warren. He had been ill about ten days and death was attributed to sugar diabetes.
The decedent was born in Salamonie township, Huntington county, on August 22, 1899, a son of Ezekiel and Margaret Gephart Boxell. His marriage to Fern Minnich took place on Dec. 18, 1920.
Mr. Boxell, who was a farmer by occupation, was a lifelong resident of Huntington county.
Surviving are the widow; the father, of Roll; a daughter, Mrs. Lavella Herr, near Warren; two sons, James and Lloyd Boxell, at home; three brothers, Jacob Boxell, of Warren; James Boxell, of Fairfield, Ill., and Elbridge Boxell, of Noble, Ill.; and one sister, Mrs. Nova Riggs, of Roll.
The body will be taken this evening from the H. Brown & Son funeral home in Warren to the residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Baptist church in Warren, of which the decedent was a member, in charge of Rev. Dale Heinbaugh. Burial will be in the Jones cemetery, east of Warren.
